Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

11. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Almanya'da yükseköğrenim hakkında

Almanya'daki üniversite türleri

Almanya'da yükseköğrenim üç tür yükseköğrenim kurumunda sunulmaktadır:
 

• Universitäten (Üniversiteler): üniversiteler akademik disiplinlerin tamamını sunmaktadır. Alman geleneğinde, üniversiteler öncelikle temel araştırmalara odaklanır, böylece ileri düzey eğitim öncelikle teorik ve araştırma odaklıdır.

• Fachhochschulen (Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversiteleri) eğitim programlarını mühendislik ve diğer teknik disiplinler, işletme ile ilgili çalışmalar, sosyal hizmetler ve tasarım alanlarında yoğunlaştırmaktadır.
   
• Kunst- und Musikhochschulen (Güzel Sanatlar Yüksekokulu) güzel sanatlar, sahne sanatları ve müzik alanlarında; tiyatro, film ve diğer medya alanlarında yönetmenlik, yapımcılık, yazarlık gibi alanlarda ve çeşitli tasarım alanlarında, mimarlık, medya ve iletişim alanlarında sanatsal kariyerler için eğitim sunmaktadır.

 

Araştırma ve uygulama ağırlıklı yüksekokullarda (Universität ve Fachhochschule) yükseköğrenim bitiminde lisans veya yüksek lisans diplomaları verilmektedir. Üniversiteler, daha çok teorik ve araştırma odaklı eğitim verirken, Fachhochschule'ler ise uygulama temelli bir eğitim programı sunmaktadır. Bu nedenle, mühendislik ve tasarım gibi pratik alanlarda Fachhochschule'ler önemli birer seçenek haline gelmektedir.

Almanya’da ayrıca Eğitim Bilimleri Yüksekokulu (Pädagogische Hochschule) ve İlahiyat Yüksekokulu (Theologische Hochschuleler) bulunmaktadır.

Almanya'da yükseköğrenim süresi  

Lisans

Lisans derecesi eğitim programları akademik temelleri atar, metodolojik beceriler kazandırır ve mesleki alanla ilgili yeterliliklere ulaşılmasını sağlar. Lisans derecesi 3 ila 4 yıl sonunda verilir. Lisans derecesi programı bir tez zorunluluğu içermektedir.

Tıp ve hukuk gibi alanlardaki eğitim süresi 3,5 ile 12 yıl arasında değişmektedir.

Yüksek lisans

Yüksek lisans, 1,5 veya 2 yıl sonra alınan ikinci derecedir. Yüksek lisans eğitim programları “uygulama odaklı” ve “araştırma odaklı” profil türlerine göre farklılaştırılabilir. Profili yükseköğretim kurumları belirler. Yüksek lisans programı genellikle bir tez gerekliliği içerir.

Doktora - PhD

Almanya'da doktora eğitiminiz için farklı eğitim yöntemleri arasında seçim yapabilirsiniz. Disiplininize, araştırma konunuza, kişisel koşullarınıza ve gereksinimlerinize bağlı olarak iki farklı yol bulunmaktadır:

Bireysel doktora: Bireysel doktora, bir profesörün gözetimi altında tek başına yürütülen bağımsız araştırmaya dayanır. Almanya'daki doktora öğrencilerinin büyük bir kısmı, geleneksel yöntem olarak bu yolu tercih etmektedir.

Yapılandırılmış doktora programı: Bu programlar, İngilizce konuşulan ülkelerdeki doktora programlarına benzer bir yaklaşım sunar. Bağımsız bir ekip tarafından denetlenir ve diğer doktora öğrencileriyle birlikte derslere, seminerlere katılırsınız. Genellikle, bu tür programlar kamuya açık olarak ilan edilir ve hibe veya ücretli doktora pozisyonlarını içerir.

Doktora derecesi almak genellikle beş ila altı yıl sürer, ancak bu süre değişebilir.

Almanya'da yükseköğrenim not sistemi

Almanya'daki not sistemi genellikle beş seviyeden oluşmaktadır: 1 = Çok İyi (Sehr Gut); 2 = İyi (Gut); 3 = Başarılı (Befriedigend); 4 = Yeterli (Ausreichend); 5 = Yeterli Değil/Başarısız (Nicht ausreichend). Minimum geçme notu Ausreichend’dir.

Notların sözlü olarak belirtilmesi bazı durumlarda ve doktora dereceleri için farklılık gösterebilir. Buna ek olarak, kurumlar kısmen bir ECTS notlandırma şeması kullanmaktadır.

Almanya'da yükseköğrenim ücretleri

Devlet üniversiteleri

Devlet yükseköğretim kurumlarındaki birçok program için öğrenim ücreti talep edilmezken, bazı programlar için ücret ödemeniz gerekebilir.

Devlet yükseköğretim kurumlarındaki lisans ve yüksek lisans programları için genellikle ücret alınmamaktadır; sadece dönem harcı ya da sömestr ücreti olarak bilinen yaklaşık 100 - 450 € tutarındaki dönem katkı payının ödenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu sömestr ücreti, toplu taşıma kartının (ücretsiz yararlanmak için bir dönemlik bilet) ve öğrenci kimlik kartının maliyetini karşılamaktadır.

Devlet yükseköğretim kurumlarındaki birçok program için öğrenim ücreti talep edilmezken, bazı programlar için ücret ödemeniz gerekebilir. Örneğin, farklı bir ülkedeki üniversitelerle düzenlenen ortak lisans programları ya da yarı zamanlı, kariyer odaklı profesyonellere yönelik yüksek lisans programları için. Bu ücretler 5.500 ile 25.000€ arasında değişmektedir. 

Sömestr ücretleri doktora eğitimi için de geçerlidir ve Almanya'daki tüm devlet üniversitelerinde en az ilk 6 dönem öğrenim ücreti alınmamaktadır.

Özel üniversiteler

Özel üniversiteler bağımsız olarak faaliyet gösterir ve öğrenim ücretleriyle finanse edilir. Bu nedenle, devlet üniversitelerine kıyasla genellikle daha pahalıdır; lisans ve yüksek lisans programları için yıllık 10.000 ile 20.000 € arasında bir bütçe ayırmanız gerekmektedir.

Almanya'da yükseköğrenim bursları

Almanya'daki uluslararası öğrenciler, devlet ve özel sektör tarafından finanse edilen burslar, Alman üniversiteleri tarafından sunulan özel burslar, devlete özgü burslar ve uluslararası öğrenciler için çeşitli MBA bursları dahil olmak üzere farklı burslara başvurabilir ve bu burslardan yararlanabilir.

Almanya'da bir yükseköğretim kurumuna başvuru yapacak adayların belirli niteliklere sahip olması bekleniyor. Bunların başında Almanya’daki Abitur gibi uluslararası geçerliliği olan lise diplomasına sahip olmak ve Almanca veya İngilizce dil yeterlilik sertifikası gelmektedir. Bazı lisans programlarında minimum not ve kontenjan kısıtlamaları uygulanmaktadır.

Lisans eğitimine başvuru

Bulunduğu ülkede örgün bir lisans programında okumaya hak kazanmış olan öğrenciler, Almanya’da istedikleri bir bölüme başvurabilirler. Başvurabileceğiniz bölüm sayısında herhangi bir sınır bulunmamaktadır.

• Kendi ülkenizde üniversite eğitimine başlamanızı sağlayan diploma (örneğin, lise diploması)
• Derslerin ve notların bir dökümü (transkript)
• Bir üniversite giriş sınavını geçtiğinize dair belge (eğer kendi ülkenizde bir üniversite giriş sınavı varsa ve bu sınavı zaten geçtiyseniz)
• Dil yeterlilik sertifikası (Almanca: TestDaF, telc, Goethe, DSH, DSD; İngilizce: TOEFL, IELTS).

Almanya dışında bir üniversitede eğitim aldıysanız veya alıyorsanız:

• Üniversiteniz tarafından verilen derslerin ve notların bir dökümü (transkript)
• Eğitiminizi zaten tamamladıysanız, derslerin ve notların bir dökümüne ek olarak diplomanız

 

Yüksek Lisans / Master eğitimine başvuru

Bulunduğu ülkede bir lisans programını tamamlamış olan öğrenciler, Almanya’da istedikleri bir bölüme başvurabilirler. Başvurabileceğiniz bölüm sayısında herhangi bir sınır bulunmamaktadır. Lisans eğitiminizin 3, 3,5 veya 4 yıl süreli bir Alman lisans eğitimine eşdeğer olması gerekecektir. Bazı lisans programlarında minimum not ve kontenjan kısıtlamaları uygulanmaktadır.

Doktora - PhD başvurusu

İlgili üniversite bölümleri, doktora ile ilgili yönetmelikleri ve gereklilikleri belirlemektedir. Almanya'da potansiyel bir danışman seçerek doğrudan söz konusu profesöre başvurmanız gerekmektedir.

Almanya'da danışmanınız olarak bir profesör bulduktan sonra, üniversitenizdeki sorumlu bölüm veya doktora komitesi, doktora adayı olarak uygunluğunuzu onaylamalıdır. Bazı üniversitelerde adaylar, bu aşamada doktora sınavına kabul edilmek için başvuruda bulunmak zorundadır.

Başvurunuzun başarılı olması için, planladığınız doktora tezinin programın ana vurgularına uygun olması ve Almanya'da tanınan iyi veya çok iyi bir dereceye sahip olmanız gerekmektedir.

Başvuru Dönemleri

Çoğu yükseköğretim kurumunda, kış dönemi eğitimi Eylül/Ekim aylarında, yaz dönemi eğitimi ise Mart/Nisan aylarında başlar.

Başvuru yapacağınız program kış döneminde başlıyorsa son başvuru tarihi genellikle 15 Temmuz'dur; program yaz döneminde başlıyorsa son başvuru tarihi genellikle 15 Ocak'tır. Fakat her üniversite veya lisans programı, belirlediği başvuru tarihleri çerçevesinde başvuru alabilir; örneğin, 1-30 Nisan veya 15 Mayıs-15 Temmuz gibi.

Ayrıca, bazı üniversitelere yıl boyunca başvuru yapılabilmektedir.

Kısıtlamalar

Numerus Clausus: Üniversitelerde bazı bölümlere yönelik talep, o bölümlerin kabul edebileceği öğrenci sayısını aşmaktadır. Bu nedenle, kısaca NC (Numerus Clausus) olarak bilinen kontenjan kısıtlaması uygulanmaktadır.

örtliches NC (yerel NC): Bazı üniversiteler bazı programlarındaki başvuru kontenjanını kısıtlayabiliyor; bu örtliches NC olarak adlandırılıyor.

bundesweites NC (ülke çapında NC): Bazı bölümler için, tüm ülke çapında geçerli bir asgari not barajı (bundesweites NC) belirlenir ve bu barajın altında notu olan adaylar, bu bölümlere başvuru yapamazlar; örneğin, tıp, diş hekimliği, veterinerlik ve eczacılık gibi alanlarda ülke genelinde başvuru kontenjanları kısıtlanmaktadır.

Almanya'da yükseköğretim kurumlarında şartlı kabul

Şartlı kabul, üniversiteye giriş yeterliliğine sahip ancak henüz Almanca C1 dil bilgisi seviyesine ulaşmamış uluslararası aday öğrencilere yönelik bir hazırlık programıdır. Bu hazırlık programına kaydolmak, öğrenci oturma izni ile Almanya'da kalmanızı sağlar.

Şartlı kabulün amacı, öğrenci adaylarının lisans programına başvurabilmek için Almanca C1 seviyesine ulaşmalarını sağlamaktır. Bu süre en fazla 4 yarıyıldır.
