Galway has also some of the most authentic pubs in Ireland, where you can sing along and jam to traditional Irish music while enjoying Guinness with tourists and locals.

Many of the most interesting shops can be found in small districts of the city centre, including the Latin Quarter, Westend and the stalls of Galway's famous bustling open-air market, which has been trading for literally centuries in Church Lane by St Nicholas' Church.

There are also many grocery stores/supermarkets in Malta where all food items and some household items can be purchased. Some of the largest and most popular grocery stores include Tesco, Spar, MACE Galway City, Centra. Lidl, Aldi.
